Wes Anderson strung Donald Trump's overseas film tariffs at a Cannes press conference for his new film Phoenician Spine and questioned how it works.
“Can you maintain the custom of the movie? It won't ship this way,” the director said.
The Phoenician Project covers the huge solids of Anderson regulars filmed in Germany. When demanding tariffs, Anderson initially replied: “I thought you said he was giving us a plug or something. Did Trump see it?”
However, he then continued to laugh at the idea: “Since I've never heard of a 100% tariff, it's a professional in that field of economics, but I really feel like he's saying he's going to take all the cash. What will we get? What will we get? Is it hard for you to maintain the movie in customization?
The movie is a three-wave of a liar, starring Benicio del Toro, Michael Cera and the groundbreaking Mia Treeapleton, the daughter of Kate Winslet. Del Toro performs business tycoon ZSA-ZSA Korda, one of Europe's wealthiest men, and the repeated assassination topic is an attempt, while Treeapleton portrays his estranged daughter, a nun who smokes and drinks. Like Threeapleton, Cera was a newcomer to Anderson's troops, attending a repeat tutor named Bjorn Lund.
Regarding the idea of the film, Anderson said he and co-author Roman Coppola initially wanted to write about something “very dark” and that several corporate tycoons “may not be involved in how his huge choices of the world affect the huge choices of the world.
Anderson added: “We have been building this affirmative form of darkness, and despite that, we are somewhere else. We hope the psychiatrist's sofa will answer it correctly, even if I didn't know it at that time. Nevertheless, it's within DNA.”
He then revealed the subsequent adventure, saying he was co-written with Coppola and Richard Ayoade, who could also work on the solids of the Phoenician Project. “Rome and Richard and I work on the scripts of the movie together, and I believe it does have darkness,” Anderson said.
Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Jeffrey Wright, Riz Ahmed, Scarlett Johansson, Richard Ayoade, Mathieu Amalric, Rupert Pal, Rupert Pal, Hope Davis, Hope Davis and Benedict Cumberbatch, all of them have appeared in an earlier character.
The Phoenician Project can be launched with the focus option starting with restricted dramas.
