Dreamworks’ “Tips on How to Prepare Dragons” retained its leading position in the Korean field workplace during the weekend from June 13 to 15, making $2.3 million from 318,960 admissions.
Two weeks after the launch, the live remake has now amassed $7.3 million, according to a monitoring service operated by the Korean Film Commission.
The Korean movie “Hello-5” ranked second with an entrant of $1.5 million and 228,720 votes. Now, it has completed $10.2 million.
The Korean mysterious thriller “The Contract” adopted in third place, earning $848,542 from 119,136 admissions, a total of $4.1 million.
“Task: Unthinkable – Final Estimate” dropped to fourth place with $799,446 and 112,952 viewers. The Tom Cruise-led sequel has now generated $22.8 million, with more than 3.17 million admissions since its 17 debuts.
Japanese animation feature “Magic Candies” ranked fifth with a price of $82,204 for 22,445 viewers, raising its cumulative volume to $348,975 in its entirety.
“Lilo & Sew” finished sixth in the $145,837, with a full $3.2 million, while the reissued Italian basic “Life Is Innunt” ranked seventh with $76,499.
Australia's supernatural horror “against her” added $60,969 to a total of $328,608 on the second weekend.
South Korean champion “Midnight Solar” has a ticket price of $53,691 with 7,667 votes and a box office of $53,691, totaling $113,216. The film star Jung Ji-So, directed by Cho Younger-Jun, plays Mi-Sol, a musician affected by medical conditions that takes her from being discovered to sunlight. Her life flips when she meets Seok-hyun (Cha Hak-Yeon), a young man who runs a fruit truck. Regardless of her situation, the romance begins to blossom.
The top 10 Japanese anime “Colorful! Movie: A Milong who can't sing” has a revenue of $53,003, bringing its cumulative completion to $434,300.
