“Imprisoning the Sparks – The Story of Magic: Party”, a feature documentary that shares the historical past and cultural influence of Card Entertainment's eponymous entertainment will be held on August 2 at Gen Con, Indianapolis, rather than accessing on August 5 on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, YouTube, Google Play and Cable vendors worldwide.
The “Light the Spark” unit reveals the magic: how much a party becomes a world phenomenon. Through archival clips, the film explores the elusive game vault and conducts interviews with skilled gamers, collectors, historians, role-players, game supervisors, and additional interviews. It chose the wizards of magic creator Richard Garfield and the founder of Coast Games Peter Adkison. The film also explores how the sport has grown from its despicable roots to Hasbro’s billion-dollar property and provides a precious cultural touchstone for thousands of gamers around the world.
The documentary comes from Nacelle, the studio behind the pop culture documentary “Make Our Toys,” “Idols,” and “Disney Behind Attraction.” Brian Stillman and Kelley dragged the movie while Seth Polansky produced it. The trio worked with Nacelle in advance to discover the iconic entertainment in 2019’s “Eye of the Bystander: The Artwork of Dragon and Dragon”.
Nacelle CEO Brian Volk-Weiss noted: “'Magic: Party' is a cultural phenomenon that has actually seen the time. Brian Stillman, Kelley Slagle and Seth Polansky did incredibly, and the affluent history of this Doc past and what we are even more excited about is that we are all providing a greater excitement for the world than the last one.
