BBC Studios Appointed Amanda Jones As Chief Currency Officer, she was promoted from interim CFO. Jones will report to the CEO in August as part of the BBC Studios Government Committee and the BBC Business Committee Tom Fussell.
Jones brings enhanced media finance expertise from Sky, ITV, EMAP, and recently as Kantar Worldpanel’s CFO, she reshapes financial performance and supports a complete change program.
“As BBC Studios attempt to grow its businesses in extremely difficult markets, Amanda may help to move our businesses forward,” Fussell said.
Jones added: “I'm very happy to be such a critical BBC studio member on the journey.”
Jones succeeds Lorraine Burgesshe resigned after becoming a member in 2021.
