Indian digital storytelling platform Pratilipi has established a strategic content materials partnership with manufacturing Roy Kapur Films to jointly develop and produce a series of films and sequentially utilize its vast story universe.
The partnership will allow businesses to jointly identify the story of the Pratilipi platform, gain growth together, and collaborate on publicity and produce for major studios and streaming media. The goal is to co-produce the entire film and six missions in sequence over the next three years.
The main challenge under the partnership is “Charitraheen”, a court drama that generates over 21 million reads on the Pratilipi app, with over 244,000 views and a 4.88/5 ranking.
Pratilipi has over 30 million months of dynamic clients, 1.6 million writers, and hundreds of thousands of stories throughout 12 Indian languages.
Roy Kapur's film, created by veteran producer Siddharth Roy Kapur, brings manufacturing experience and business relationships to the league. The company's credibility embraces “The Sky Is Pink”, which premieres at the Toronto Global Movie Pageant, Netflix real-life movie “Yeh Ballet”, Netflix crime thriller sequence “Aranyak” and Sonyliv Sequence sequence “Rocket Boys”. The latest works include “Deva”, “Pippa” and “Tumse Na Ho Payega”.
“Our partnership with Pratilipi is rooted in a shared view in the energy of storytelling to entertain, elicit thoughts and replicate various realities in India,” said Roy Kapur. “Through this collaboration, Roy Kapur’s film Roy Kapur Movies is trapped in rich voices, languages and life experiences that are always unheard of. Our aim is to make stories that can be deeply rooted in local traditions but can resonate universally. In the instantly changing content material panorama, this is a rapidly changing content we connect to international auditory narratives.”
Roy Kapur also noted that the partnership proposes “an incredible alternative to shaping these sounds into stories that internationally entertain and divert audiences.”
Ranjeet Pratap Singh, co-founder and CEO of Pratilipi, said the collaboration represents “the following steps can unlock the potential of storytelling in India. Thousands of Pratilipi writers Pratilipi have shaped these materials for the advancement of storytelling in India, and we now have a proper material to provide them. The concept can be seamlessly transferred from the creativity of the author to the global audience.
Singh is also known, and Pratilipi “has always believed that efficient stories can come from anywhere – a small city, a bustling metropolis, from every experienced creator.”
The upcoming mission of the Roy Kapur movie covers the sequence of the main video “Matka King” and the internationally loaded epic “Anarchy” mainly based on William Dalrymple's best-selling e-book.
Pratilipi also owns and operates Pratilipi FM, Pratilipi Comics, Westland Books and IVM podcasts. The platform licenses the spread of stories to ecosystem companions to adapt streaming revelations, TV sequences and movies.
