Michael Douglas won the Lifetime Achievement Award in Italy’s Taormina Film Competition on Tuesday, the place where “A Lair Flying Over the Cuckoo” is his Oscar Winners’ base for the last 50 years, and will be exhibited in the festival’s 6,000-seat seating open-air historic historic Greek circular room.
The festival was led by advertising guru Guru Tiziana Rocca, who has closed her relationship in Hollywood and was forced to resign for eight years after five years due to political infighting in 2017.
Douglas, 80, won the festival’s opening night award, and Cannes Film Competition president Iris Knobloch participated in the prize for Taormina’s participation in the women’s license group in the film trade.

“Their compassion and appreciation for the film are unique; no jealousy,” Douglas became famous. “It’s similar to being in a huge family, and it’s very, very special.”
Douglas also recalls starting with his father Kirk at Cinecittà Studios in Rome, where he made a movie at the age of 16.
