Xueer Will be very angry! She went to the bat's beloved zoo elephant – Billy and Tina – The zoo secreted under the dark quilt on the last night…TMZ has realized it.
Sources related to LA ZOO informed us that Billy and Tina had been eliminated at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, presumably loading to the Tulsa Zoo, a controversial transfer that prompted protests, lawsuits and a letter of crime to the mayor of La Karen Bass … which one Xueer and several other different celebrities signed.
We directed La Zoo's elephant exhibition to be aired Tuesday morning – no elephants, no guardians, and no electrical fences…The animals have made clear signs of Oklahoma.
Our sources say the elephants are placed in crates and loaded on semi-trucks to switch to the Tulsa Zoo. It is not clear how long the journey will be.
We have contacted many La Zoo officials, but no one is called, the deputy mayor of Los Angeles (the deputy mayor in charge of the zoo) hangs on us.
Billy and Tina advocates have been around La Zoo for years as Asian elephants Billy and Tina are kept in a fence that is too small.
Zoo officials said they will have extra space to roam Tulsa, but a letter to Mayor Beth said: “This is actually something that no human elephant can achieve in a traditional zoo.”
