Just a few days before the 2025 Cannes movie competition started, a leaked hissing reel in a movie called “Kung Fu Fury 2” stirred up something online.

While there are many responses that are mainly “WTF is” options, it’s a very welcome reminder for others, a long delayed film that has disappeared from sight.
“Kung Fury 2” was truly first introduced in Cannes in 2015, the place the unique “Kung Fury” — a 30-minute, inexperienced screen-shot quick movie about “kung fu cop” who goes again in time from Nineteen Eighties Miami to defeat the Kung Fuhrer, Adolf Hitler — grow to become one of many unlikely breakout hits.
“My memories of this are not just Cannes, but the whole main process is like Cannes,” said author/director David Sandberg. “Its desire is within the DNA of the mission. Everyone at every job continues with enthusiasm.”
At the Cannes Film Festival, Kung Fu premiered in two-week competitors for the administrator, usually the platform for the Auteur administrator, and there has never been a high octane story about the time travel martial arts policeman, which can be used to use dinosaurs (and more) to carry machine guns with dinosaurs. Understandably, Sandberg is not sure how it will drop.
“I used to be nervous, but when it started to participate in people, I laughed so loudly that I couldn't hear what was going on,” he said. “It was actually reassuring.”
Sandberg admits that the next few months and years were due to the observed characteristics, which ended up titled “Kung Fu Furious 2”, which was “completely crazy.”
Of the craziest two castings, each Schwarzenegger and Fassbender joined the mission in 2018, and Fassbender even made his debut as producer. In the Berlin movie competition, the “Kung Fu Furious” bomber jackets stood out, buying the publisher who bought the film.

“Kung Fu 2” began in mid-2019, taking photos mainly at Nu Boyana Studios in Bulgaria and later Germany. It then went on to post-production, given the amount of presentation knowledge about VFX and lack of experience, the monitors associated with it would be most of the time (and the movie’s generally $33 million funding). But, quiet.
Sadly, this is not the result of the pandemic, and no matter one of the many major buyers in the movie is in trouble.
In early 2019, the financing and manufacturing division of Creasun Leisure USA, a Chinese VFX company based in Los Angeles, was owned by MA MA, which owns a majority stake in “Kung Fury 2” and entered here as a manufacturer. As part of the settlement, the company agreed to fund two-thirds of the total fund, totaling $22.3 million, of which $10 million was to pay for the VFX Powerhouse double disadvantage. But Sandberg said that this kind of VFX cash is never enough.
“Once we started participating in VFX, the problem started to basically drop – and the problem became a little weird,” he said. “It turns out that our Chinese financiers mostly blocked all the money.”

In September 2020, a lawsuit against Cresson was filed. After what Sandberg said was “a year and half of the mandatory battle”, a settlement was finally reached, and Cresson agreed to fulfill his monetary obligations. However, Sandberg claims they still haven't paid their cash. So the manufacturing industry sued them again, and the lawsuit caused a rumbling sound. Besides the best way, Creasun reportedly fought back again with claims that the producers stole cash from manufacturing, but repeated auditor checks failed to find some lawyers' stuff in the numbers.
Sandberg assured that even earlier than the main lawsuit, he had already worked hard to prevent it from reaching that stage. choose Understand that manufacturers can even supply products to buy Creasun, which were rejected.
“They only use it to solve every attempt to solve the difficulties,” he said. “It’s actually heartbreaking as an artist who has been working on it for years. And, there are a lot of people who fall in love with it and I’m really scary about them.”

Sandberg, in the years he took his ardent task on the floor, said he was “in deep despair…I just gave up.” However, he quickly realized, “What makes me happy as an art person is creation.”
So he gets it again and starts working on new secret new features and takes “Kung Fu Anger” as “Kung Fu”, but not one of the authorized dramas. He is currently saving the cover of the movie, but he says he is working with Finnish entrepreneur Mikko Kodisoja, who co-founded Supercell, the gaming company behind Cell's hits “Clans of Clans” and “Brawl Stars.” Kodisoja definitely funded the mission. There are no different buyers.
However, Sandberg could also decide that his films about his famous Hitler's Kung Fu Police, as well as Fassbender and Schwarzenegger, will see the sunshine at the end. Reaction to the leaked Sizzle – he admitted it was “an internal promotional video, never seen by the public” and included “Temp VFX” – indicating that the audience is determined to see it.
“It's an incredible movie, and I'm so frustrated that I can't introduce it,” he said. “But I haven't given up yet. At some point, it might be rolled out. But we can only use it to get the energy through it. Still, it's unimaginable. Arnold is unimaginable. We have such exquisite expertise on site that everyone feels the love behind it.
