President Donald Trump Jumped on Sydney Sweeney Trends are because obviously this is where we are in American politics now.
Before leaving Allentown, Pennsylvania on Sunday, Trump couldn't help but call the joyful actress a registered Republican on the shocking news. After learning this critical message, the president announced Her American Eagle Jeans Advertising “Excellent.”
“She is a registered Republican? Now I love her ads,” Trump saysabsolutely shocking. “You'd be surprised at how many people are Republicans. That's what I don't know, but I'm glad you told me.”

according to guardianIn the Riveting Survey on Sunday (August 3, 2025), Sweeney's partisan affiliation was listed as a Republican on public records. She registered to vote in Florida in June 2024 because of course she did the same.
“If Sydney Sweeney was a registered Republican, I think her ad was great!” Trump added that he appreciates new discoveries about denim marketing.
Sweeney recently caused a sensation and rebound from the American Eagle movement, which is played subtly (or less so) with “jeans” and “genes.”

In a particularly memorable place, Sweeney offers this groundbreaking scientific observation: “Genes spread from parents to offspring, often identifying features such as hair color, personality and even eye color. My jeans are blue.”
The ad has a blond, blue-eyed little star somehow managed to wrinkle feathers, and critics show it has an uncomfortable eugenic and racially superior color. Who can see that coming?
Meanwhile, Rights enthusiastically accepted the ad, refuted the criticism that it was ridiculous, and was eager to Sweeney's defense.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz won the “Thirsty” tag after sharing a reveal photo from Sweeney’s ad, and commented deeply: “Now the crazy left has stood out from beautiful women.”
Vice President JD Vance also felt compelled to comment on her appearance, dubbing her as “The Beautiful Girl in America”.
“My political advice to Democrats continues to tell everyone who thinks Sydney Sweeney is attractive is Nazis,” Vance said on a podcast on Friday.
“It seems to be their actual strategy. I mean, it actually reveals something interesting about Dems, that is, you have a normal all-American beautiful girl, like a normal jeans ad. They try to sell jeans to kids in the United States, and they manage to make themselves so dislike this thing. You guys learned from mid-November 2024, did you learn nothing?”

Sweeney has been silent in the controversy, but American Eagle issued a brief statement on Friday.
The company is on “her jeans”. Her jeans. Her story.
They added: “Great jeans are great for everyone.” Presumably hope to end the words.
A representative of Sweeney has been contacted for comment.
