Michael Alaimo, a theater and film actor, died Friday for his role in “House Jam” and the role of the Oscar-nominated “The China Chandrome”, who was 86 years old, in Burbank, California.

As a multifaceted artist who works in avant-garde theater and appears in dozens of films and revelations, Alaimo plays a role in “House Jam”, “Mother Mother”, “Chinese Syndrome” and “Everything Needed for Christmas.” In “House Jam,” he plays a doctor, where he appears with Michael Jordan, Wayne Knight and Invoice Murray. Additionally, he has a protracted TV career, playing roles in “Cheer,” “Marvel Era,” “Scrub,” “Barney Miller,” “Mr. Belvedere,” “Hill Road Blues,” and “Betty White.”
Before moving to Los Angeles, Alaimo received his start learning theater at Brooklyn School. From 1961 to 1964, he participated in Joseph Papp's NY Shakespeare in Central Park, where he led a Commedia dell'arte troupe and focused on political action with East Harlem's influential East Harlem.
Alaimo finally moved to San Francisco, where he toured with the anti-war “fta” before a touchdown in Los Angeles in 1973. There, his profession played early roles in “6 million Green Guards”, “Cannon”, “Cannon” and “Harry O.”
Alaimo's spouse, Louise, daughters Gabriella and Giovanna, son David and granddaughters Isabella and Malia survived.
