CAA introduces the 10th Annual CAA Moebius Film Competition, a two-day screening sequence display of graduate student film producers, to be held from February 28 to 29, 2025.
In this 12-month competition selection, the most extensive film app illustrations, graduate student filmmakers from outstanding venues, has been the record of the most outstanding filmmakers. During the major period, Columbia College joined a lineup that included the Returned University similar to Chapman College, the American Film Academy (AFI) School of Music, New York College (New York University), the National Academy of Film and Television (NFTS) and Calarts in England, among others.
The tenth edition of the Moebius Movie Contest will highlight 10 quick movies selected from the 170+ submissions of the record, showing each live-action and animated work. This 12-month lineup explores themes of self-realization, adulthood and family, covering genres from drama and comedy to horror, all in support of the contest’s mission to advocate for culture and creativity.
Since its inception in 2015, Moebius has become a platform for respected filmmakers, providing early publicity that helped launch profitable careers. Felipe Vargas is his famous alumnus, and his Moebius’s choice of the fast “Rosario” is a supernatural story rooted in Latin American folklore that paves the way for adaptability to gain distinctive features on the competition tour around the world. Similarly, Oran Zegman's quick “Marriage Materials” was screened on Moebius, more than her featured debut “Honor Society” and the featured “Honor Society” starring Angourie Rice and Gaten Matarazzo, premiered on Paramount+. The competition also involves its alumnus Max Barbakow, whose narrative feature debuts, the famous “Palm Springs” and the most popular “Brother” as legends, starring Glenn Shut, Peter Dinklage and Josh Brolin.
Conceived by then-trainees and now CAA Movement Image brokers Christina Chou, Zach Kaplan and Pete Stein, together with Lingie Park, Moebius is organized by a crew of younger leaders throughout the company, together with Odessa Chiklis, Olivia Guevara, Sidney Jaet, Brendan Kim, Jessica Lee, Cameron Mendez, Jack Spencer, Saundarya Thapa, Lex Torrington, Jordyn Walker and Nick Wnuk.
“Arriving at our twelve months is a milestone that illustrates the capabilities and hopes of filmmakers,” Chou, Kaplan and Stein said in a shared claim. “With each version, Moebius will grow in scale and scope, and these 12-month submissions reflect global voices, bold concepts, and the imaginative and prescient nature of Cinematic. We are honored to provide a platform with a story, and here are the times of the story of the story.”
Moebius helps CAA to achieve greater dedication within the company and in the past. Over time, CAA has launched numerous applications and initiatives to help creators and executives from all backgrounds, together with the Full Story Initiative, an industry-led effort designed to generate extra gene storytelling in tv and movie, and CAA Amplify, a platform to attach a cross-disciplinary group of leaders from media, leisure, sports activities, know-how and past, to discover skilled alternatives, social affect initiatives, and collaborations to speed up transformational change in corporate and extensive traditional rooms.

- Real life girl, directed by Ofre Sparrow Vaknin (Calarts)
- Sam, Lexi and Jane spent a plan in the eighth grade of elementary school to get the final word lunch table. Their plan will be disbanded when preparatory sixth-year Tiktok influencer Katy beats their coveted submissions.
- Bruno & Elena is directed by Javier Hirschler (Colombia)
- On his last day of high school, Bruno finally managed to attract the woman's goal and invited her to his home. However, his mother, Elena, did not stay in her room.
- Dandelion directed by Fiona Obertinca (AFI)
- In the nineteenth century in Los Angeles, rebellious queer teen Margaret will be abandoned in a foster care position and find himself part of a company of a mysterious social employee, whose mission is to discover Margaret discovers a brand new home earlier than the rest of the dawn.
- Eve Liu (NYU)-guided neural energy
- On the cusp of success/failure, two unworried female filmmakers decide to break with their boyfriend and make bold choices in their lives.

- Whether I follow me where Maxwell Didako directed by Chapman
- A deep-spirited single mom will start her life again and do nothing until she gets her own needs – her son's best friend.
- Very average person directed by Allamaprabhu Pattanashetty (NYU)
- One person promotes the concept of the film to his filmmaker’s son…everyone starred in himself.
- Dad Exchange is directed by Ethan Mermelstein (Colombia)
- Ethan Mermelstein's father is a dick, and he's enough. So he exchanged him with his father's best friend/nemesis Ron.
- Deer directed by Molly Mayhew (NFTS)
- After the sudden death of her mother and father, Xiaolu is forced to return to a home she has not been living in for a long time. As painful memories begin to penetrate gradually, the deer is thrown on the difficult road to reconnect with what he thought he had left behind.
- Teen Mary directed by Ali Rosenthal (AFI)
- Mary is a teenage woman who lived in Nazareth for 12 months (but fashion conversation). She is a traditional teenager: attractive. However, when Mary is burnt, married Shepherd and may be forgotten to end adultery, she and her gay best friend, Joseph Hatch, plan to save a lot of lives. They will convince everyone to make Mary pregnant with the brand new Messiah.
