French President Emmanuel Macron Legal lawsuits have been initiated against conservative commentators Candace Owens The ongoing assertion about her that his spouse is male.
Legal proceedings, filed in the Delaware Superior Court on Wednesday (July 23, 2025), A statement describing Owens As a “very harmful falsehood” and noting that the media personality “ignores all reliable evidence, which contradicts her claims while providing a platform for recognized conspiracy theorists and confirming the defamators.”
In 2024, Owens, then worked at Ben Shapiro's media company Daily wireconfidently declared that she would risk “full professional status” Brigitte Macron It's a male. Since then, Owens has insisted that the first lady in France was originally a male. She even developed an eight-part documentary titled Becoming Brigitte to dig deep into this baseless theory.
This documentary series, according to the legal filing, contains “bizarre, libelous, and impalusible fabrications” including “assertions that Mrs. Macron was born male, assumed someone else's identity, and underwent transition; Mrs. Macron and President Macron are related by blood and engaging in incest; President Macron was selected as France's President through the CIA's MKUltra program or similar mind-control Initiative; and Mrs. Macron and President Macron are engaged in forging, deceiving and abuse of power to cover up these facts.”
“These allegations are indeed incorrect, and Owens has realized that,” the legal documents declared.
The lawsuit further states:
This behavior is a characteristic of Owens. Her reputation is based on controversy rather than accuracy. Owens shows himself as an autonomous “investigation journalist” while consistently spreading false information disguised as legitimate news reports. She has proposed various conspiracy theories, including misinformation of vaccines, traditional anti-Semitic myths such as blood slander and Holocaust minimization—and even viewed Josef Mengele’s terrible medical experiments as “propaganda.” Her content aims to educate through sensation and conspiracy, but to promote and attract attention.
The Macron family sought compensation as representatives of Clare Locke, a famous American legal company, and demanded a jury trial. Owens representative told Mediaite that she will settle the lawsuit on Wednesday’s podcast episode.
“Candace will formally answer this on today's podcast because we only know this through media coverage,” the delegate said.
