Jessel Taank introduced her father, Kishor Taank, through social media, to her death in February. He is 68 years old.
“My dad. My hero. The 45-year-old “Actual Housewife in the New York City” star wrote on Friday on Instagram, next to it with a bunch of images that highlighted her father's life.
She also shared precious family memories and revealed that he lived from 1956 to February 2025.
“If all the desire for time is personal, it might be my father,” Jessel added in the long message on the slide. “His spirit of adventure is rooted in his beloved Kisumu, Kenya, who tells the story of his naughty childhood – climbing banana wood, stirring up trouble. A real tarzan. That's his essence.”
The Bravo star remembers her father being “hard passion”, “haired” and “loyalty to fault.”
She also recalled his “romance with navy blue”, including possibly “annoying” her because it was “the last word Dad’s shadow” and shared that her late Dad “collected Lacoste Polo shirts” that he will save on “a big day.”
Jessel also said that Kishor also “to the cash-words of our different people”, recalling a humorous anecdote in which her father condemned her spending habits.
“Always a financial person. He asked us about our spending habits. He warned: “It’s important to save cash.” “I think: “But it's not pleasant. “Bankruptcy is not pleasant,” he fought back. We will never listen,” she said.
