Cassie Ventura returned to the witness stand at Sean Diddy's comb's federal trial on Wednesday, detailing how the tycoon threatened to hurt her and her boyfriend Aka Scott Mescudi after finding their relationship.
Throughout the testimony, Cassie recalled that she started Cudi for a short time in 2011. They were colleagues initially, getting up earlier than they started with, and she and the comb were “not in the biggest place.” Combs discovered Cassie and Cudi's relationship in “Freaks” after allegedly going through her cell phone and finding the email she sent to one of the workers.
Cassie mentioned that after studying their relationship, the comb put a bottle of wine between his fingers, “sting me” and pointed out that “his eyes were drowsy”, and that he was “angry indignation”. Although she wasn't hurt by the comb, Cassie escaped the cabin during the freak and was called Kudy on the burner phone, she saved the connection she had hidden from the comb. Cudi picked her up on the way and then took her to his home.
That night, Cassie ended up going to Combs's residence again to solve the problem. She described him as “angry”, and he advised her “he was going to hurt Scott and me.” Then, she mentioned that the comb threatened to show the freak movie, and when she tried to leave his residence he kicked her inside, or she or he fell to the ground, reducing her again.
On December 23, 2011, Cassie sent a email to her mother among all the comb workers. “He is going to launch two of my specific sex tapes”, she wrote, mentioning that he threatened to show the weird movie on Christmas Day. After traveling to Connecticut for vacation, her mom took images of her bruises she proved in court.
Cassie initially filed a bombshell lawsuit against the comb in November 2023, describing her interim relationship with Cudi and mentioning the incident with the bottle opener. She also admitted that in February 2012, Combs mentioned that he was “to explode Cudi's car” and his car then exploded rapidly in his driveway. Cudi's representative confirmed her account to the New York Example.
Ventura will continue to testify as his felony trial escalates in New York. If he is convicted of sexual trafficking and extortion costs, Combs faces a life sentence of life imprisonment.
