Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly tried to defend their daughter Princess Charlotte as Prince Harry suffered a fight as the “alternative” successor to the British throne.
Royal biographer Robert Hardman measures how Prince and Princess of Wales deal with the reality of 10-year-old Charlotte, who is third after her older brother Prince George, 11-year-old.
“The late queen [Elizabeth II] Always very aware of the extraordinary and difficult functions of second place. ” Hardman directed in a Wednesday interview.
“That’s why she has a choice of tender position [her sister] Margaret, yes [her son] Andrew and [grandson] Harry, Harman continued: “She knows the second place in a strict hierarchy family, the challenge of building. Everyone seems to know that.”
The “King's Production” writer defines William's obligation to organize – not only to make himself king sooner or later, but also to “make the entire royal survival approachable, and will never be scared of all his young men”.
William, 42, and Middleton, 43, also shared their son Prince Louis, 7, who is fourth on the throne.
Like Charlotte, Harry was born because his nephew and nieces were demoted to fifth place at birth compared to the second place in the British throne.

Harry claimed in his 2023 memoir “Standby” that his father, King Charles III, mentioned him because of his “Standby” successor at birth – a.okay.a. Backup plan if William wasn't there.
Harry wrote: “I used to be a shadow, assist, plan.
Duke of Sussex, 40, said how “alternatives” put pressure on his brothers – a competition that becomes stronger as they age.
“My family declared me invalid. Backup. I didn't complain about it, but I didn't have to live with both of them.” “In my mind, better yet, don't consider the sure information…but no one gave me the rattle of traveling; backup time may be spared forever.”
William and Middleton obviously tried to avoid the same way that made their daughter really feel like they were thrown away by Harry – the issue peaked when he felt forced to resign in 2020.
Harry, 43, and his spouse Meghan Markle, then moved to California, where they now live with two young people: Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibelt, 3.
Traitor Royal has been alienated from his family since the transfer – although he admitted to reconciliation this week.
