This Track series is a nostalgic and fresh love letter dedicated to her youthful golden sounds that blend timeless California pop with Belinda's unquestionable sound. Produced by longtime collaborator Gabe Lopez, the album features classics like “The Air I Breathe”, “Never My Love”, “Get Together” and “One”, each reimagined with her signature warmth and artisticity.

Inspired by the music that shaped her childhood and career, Belinda described the project as a personal journey through the melody that defined the era. From nodding to the harmonies of the beach boys, to Burt Bacharach, Gordon Lightfoot and Harry Nilsson, the album spreads its innocence, energy and imagination in California in the 1960s and 70s. and Once upon a time in CaliforniaBelinda Carlisle offers fans new and novel reminders to why she remains one of the most enduring sounds of pop music.

The first single from the new album “The air I breathe” Release in June. In this song, Belinda says, “This song has always been one of my favorite growing songs. I love the lyrics and complex melodies. This is the list I made with songs initially, and if I ever made a cover album, I want to sing. During the pandemic, I started playing Karaoke style on Instagram and calling it on every Saturday and “Saturday Age.” I think it’s so good to respond that “this should definitely be a contender for the album.”

Additionally, Belinda released her version of Youngbloods “Get Together”, a song that according to Belinda, “is important when it was released during the Vietnam War and is relevant today to all the madness in the world.

The album also features a beautiful cover of the Carpenter “The Ghost's “Super Star”, Jim Croce's Time in Bottle and Harry Nilsson classic “One”. Belinda took a new approach to the song with that song, and she also performed Three Dogs Night before. I listened to different versions and we decided to take a more jazz approach that fits the video concept, a tribute to Bob Fosse. I've never done anything like this before, so I think it might be surprising to some of my fans.”
