Heaven will indeed be a great place on Earth on August 29, the release date for an iconic fantastic new album Belinda Carlisle. exist Once upon a time in CaliforniaBelinda has gone through a profound personal journey of the golden sound of her youth. The album is full of California’s growth spirit and is a heartfelt tribute to the old-fashioned pop culture that shapes her musical identity.
There are ten new studio tracks on the album, including Hollies’ classic Air The Air the I Areak, produced by Gabe Lopez and worked with Belinda for her 2017 studio album Wilder Shores. The press release comes after Belinda's 2023 EP Kismet and its lead single “Big Love”. Once upon a time in California, it will be available in CD, vinyl and digital formats and booked here. Unlike Belinda's previous new album, it's a celebration of California culture, which extends its canvas beyond the familiar evocation of the sound of Laurel Canyon. It is a tribute to Belinda’s meticulously curated and beautifully aware of her personal education in pop music and the magical sounds that have reached her life in 45 seconds from radio and cherished.

Commenting on the album, Belinda said: “I was born and raised in California when music was an important part of California culture. I lived and breathed music; it was my huge escape – the fantasy and imagination of the refuge. Every day after school, the summer vacation is summer vacation, I listen to music on the radio, I always sing on the radio. I always fantasize in fantasy, it's a singer of the day.
This collection of songs is the best representative of what I think of as I love – listening to it brings a lot of time and memories of California that no longer exists. It doesn't sound like a bad thing, it's just different – there was a kind of innocence and energy at the time, which was unique and magical. Things I doubt will be felt in the same way again. This is the California I dream of. ”
