Edward Lachman received the honors of the 39th American Academy of Photographers Award for his work at Maria.
In a radical year, the ASC nominated seven photographers in the feature film class. The last expansion of the industry to 2014 was in 2014. The opposite nominees were Lol Crawley of the “Brutalist”, “an unknown one” by Phedon Papamichael, “Nosferatu” by Stéphane Fontaine Jarin Blaschke and “Depravity” by Alice Brooks.

On TV, winners include Robert Elswit's “Ripley”. Elswit won the Emmy Award for Art Art of the Final Year. Kennedy pays homage to the photographer in the room, saying, “In your respect for me, I actually want to respect you for you to create a new movie of magic.
